Strafe

Strafe is a band reigning from Lynchburg, Va who create a spectrum of different sounds. Ranging from Industrial Metal, to Black Metal and Grindcore, to complete industrial noise and electronics.

The band started as a joint project between Jeff Martin and Kyle Maddox. Jeff had previous work playing guitar until he converted to drums and custom percussion. Kyle started with solo industrial projects and was at first a bass player and became a guitarist. Later on after using various band names, they found their name with Strafe. Shortly after they added Harry Rankins as the vocals. Now it's only a wait until whats to come.

Experience

Harry Rankins: Harry has been apart of a few bands as the vocals. The last band he was in before deciding to be apart of Strafe was local band Bloodlit Skies.

Kyle Maddox: Kyle has had 2 years of Bass guitar experience and 1 year of guitar experience. He has had over 3 years of electronic programming experience with both digital and physical instruments.

Jeff Martin: Jeff has had some experience with guitar and some electronic programming. He has had about half a years worth of drumming experience and custom percussions.

We do play live. We have yet to do it, but we have some shows booked.

We are influenced by a wide array of bands. Anywhere from Black Sabbath to Cradle Of Filth, to Panzer AG and Combichrist.

We Currently Use Ibanez and Yamaha Guitars, Universal Percussion, and Pearl custom percussion, Audio Technica Mics, Yamaha PA's and BOSS Instrument Effect Pedals.
