Story behind the song
"In the Sweet by and Bye" speaks of partaking of the Divine nature now. You see heaven is within you. Again in 2005 while writing this song I did not know this but the Spirit gave me an inclination that we experience the heavenly before we die but I was still thinking of heavenly things in terms of blessings and prosperity here on earth only. The Christian in this song is still insensitive to pains of others even though he has gone through pain in 2008. And so the Christian is still not fully mature yet.
