My name is Jason Bibee and I'm managing a restaurant while also doing the recording thing, finding a little talent here and there that inspires me to improve, and preparing for the transition into music production. I'm only willing to do this if I can do it as an independent and this is the time to do that I'm into heavy acoustic, standard acoustic, blues, alternative, rock, country, metal, and indie. ALL of this shows up in my music that I've written. It's a very diverse collection of music, but the general tone is totally unique to my style of playing. Band/artist history
This all started back in 2007 when I started writing and recording with the Pseudonym "Hollow's Epitaph." I had a lot of material in the works back then, but nothing really to my satisfaction. In 2011 I had a son and I put my guitar down for almost 14 years. A lot happened and I eventually ended up where I am today. The place where I met the love of my life. She inspired me to try again and I started over. I picked it back up and I'm starting to write again. This time I'm writing full songs and not instrumentals. The music is so much more involved, refined, and solid now compared to the mess I was originally writing. I owe it all to her. Thank you, Carley. I love you.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I do play live. I'll play anywhere that will let me but I have a hard time with stage fright. I am a natural introvert. I currently record and perform as a solo artist, but I am not against collaborating or being part of a band...I just refuse to change my sound at all. It is who I am.
Your musical influences
I am easily influenced by anything that you can hear acoustic guitar in. I like Andy McKee, Preston Reed, Michael Muller, Karl Werne, Kevin So, 3 Doors Down, The Spill Canvas...there are too many to list. I'm also influenced and motivated by my family. I have no friends.
What equipment do you use?
I use an old Ovation acoustic electric guitar, a very cheap, ratty electric guitar, FruityLoops XXL Producer Edition, Super Sound, and BandLab.
Anything else?
Most of my material is born of inspiration. I do have some cover songs, but my original work...music is what my blood is made of I wouldn't be where I am without her. I hope she knows. I have written one or two songs out of simple entertainment, boredom, or curiosity...but they never turn out as good as inspired works. I would love to know what you think. Leave a comment! Why would I need a license?
A license is needed if you want to use the music for anything else than just listening for your pleasure. Typical uses are
  • freestyling over a beat
  • licensing music for use in TV or for a movie
  • remixing or use audio samples
What are the license options and what are the differences between those?
We offer up to 5 license templates (Basic, Premium, Track Out, Unlimited, Exclusive) and it's up to the artist which ones he/she wants to make available. Each license comes with different perks. In general, the higher the price, the better the perks.

When will I get the track I purchased?
You can download all related files immediately after your purchase. We also email you a one-time download link for a download later.
How can I remove the audio tag from the track?
A "tagged beat" is a demonstration version of an instrumental that contains distinct audio watermarks that typically play throughout the entire track. The purpose of a producer tagging his/her instrumental is to prevent piracy and to encourage serious recording artists to purchase a license.
To get a tag-free audio please make sure you purchase a license which features "untagged audio".
I purchased a $1 download, why is the beat still tagged?
Beats purchased for $1 in our store are meant for streaming and demo use only, just like downloads from iTunes store or Amazon music.
To license a beat without audio tag and to use in a professional manner please buy a license from this page. Usually those are $25 and up.
What is a stem / trackout file?
A Stem file is an audio file that contains a track split into several musical elements: A drums stem, a bassline stem, a harmony stem, and a lead stem for example.
The Stem file also usually includes the original stereo master of the track for standard playback.
Why would I need a stem / trackout file?
A trackout file gives you much better control. Imagine you rap over a beat and you realize the percussions take the focus away from your vocals. With a trackout file you can simply tone down the percussion and the focus is now on the vocals. With a trackout file you have much more flexibility and a whole different level of control.
