This is a one person band. Im not even sure if i know what im doing. But it works.
My music styles vary so much that you should be on your toes...at all times.
I just work with what i have, even if it is just a tremendous amount of guitar gear, my friends bass, my laptop, fruityloops drums, and my semicrappy voice.
Appreciate what is before you. Now.Have you performed in front of an audience?I would play live if i had a band. Im a studio kind of guy now. If i did play my songs live, it wouldnt sound anything like the recording. This is because when i record, i use many many tracks for little details and sound thickening. If i played it live, i would need 234325325 other guitarists on stage with me...for most songs...
90% of the time in teh studio, I start from scratch (mainly just a simple guitar riff or something that has been echoing in my mind while i slave away at mcdonalds) and build from there.
