So far all of the recordings on this site are solo efforts. I've been playing guitar off and on for longer than I'd like to admit - around 30 years at this point. I've become a little more serious in the last few years, playing for youth outreach events and with a worship band at church.
I began doing some simple recordings in the past year or so, partly out of curiosity in the whole "home recording" thing as well as a desire to challenge myself a little.
I've written a few simple songs, mostly instrumental. More recently I've begun adding vocals and will post songs as they are ready.
Your musical influences
Although I don't think I'd list any single artists as being huge influences, I find that when writing new songs, the easiest style for me to gravitate towards is the "classic guitar rock" of the 80s. At the end of the day I love many kinds of music including classic rock, folk, blue grass, jazz, and classical.
