I am a singer/songwriter at heart, but reality has me working a full time job. I don't play in a band, but love to sit around a campfire sharing my songs with anyone willing to listen.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I have been asked to play for an event here and there, but I tend to like the more informal setting like a jam session in someone's living room or sitting around a campfire.
Your musical influences
I have been into Country music most of my life. I did play in bands when I was younger and then Merle Haggard, Johnny Paycheck, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, and even Marty Robbins had a big influence on me. Later in life though, I've come to love the music of George Strait, Alan Jackson, Clint Black (his earlier songs), Randy Travis. Too many to name. Suffice it to say I love Country music.
Anything else?
Did I say I love Country music?

Hey Steve,
I didn't know you had these posted on here. They sound great. This one is one of my favorites. Keep on writing!!!
Hi, Steve...
I only found you 'cause my last name is Shedd and out of curiosity I checked to see if anyone else on here had the name.
Anyway -
You Put Your Pants On is a fantastic song; I dig all of your music, really. I'm an independent artist's manager in the Southern California area... Good stuff, man.
Thank you lrc. You are in our thoughts and prayers each day.
Thank you flyer. I wrote this just a few days after the storm hit and the stories were coming in about the hardships these people were facing. I wrote what I felt it must be like for them and about the hope for their futures. I hope it helped lift the spirit for some of them who might have heard it.
Wow...awesome....excellent lead guitar. As a victim, it pulls it all together and tells the story of Hurricane Katrina. We here on the gulfcoast Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
