Sheena. Chick. Awesome. Guitar-player. Singer. Writer. Good with words.

Sunken Reverie Sunken Reverie
[Unpolished version - cause I'm really pitchy in this one =)] I really like this one. I put a lot into it. Strummed/solo-ed by a classical geetar. Recorded in Feb of '06.

Pandora's Box Pandora's Box
I don't really like the first part cause it sucks, and I think the second half is a lot better. Strummed with an elec. geetar w/out amp. Recorded Feb of 06.

Box Trap Box Trap
Live-recorded. Very rough version. THERE'S A DOG BARKING THROUGHOUT MOST OF THIS SONG. But I still kinda like it. =) Strummed with elec. geetar w/out amp. Recorded Nov of 05.

It Was So Simple Then It Was So Simple Then
Live-recorded full instrumental with classical guitar - added some effects after. It sounds weird, but whatever. Recorded October of '05.

Whistler Whistler
I have no idea why I recorded this. It sounds cool at first, but as soon as the first minute ends, it turns into complete crap. So enjoy.=) Recorded October of '05.
My name is Sheena Abrena and I play the guitar/sing/write. I write all my songs as they come to me, usually while playing whatever whenever.
I don't really have a history [band-wise]. I just go with the flow.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
The first time I ever was intrigued by a guitar was when I was about 2. I was out of the country for a visit to the Philippines and I remember some dude playing an acoustic.
The first time I ever wanted to actually play was the airing of Buffy the Vampire Slayer's "Tabula Rasa" which featured Michelle Branch's song "Goodbye to you". The song enraptured me and got me started on the way to awesomeness. =)
Just my electric guitar and amp + my voice. I try to go for an acoustic sound and I'm looking to get a nice solid acoustic-electric. Oh, and I've got an old classical guitar.
For recording, I use Audacity and a webcam mic. Why? Because I'm poor. Sue me for the 50 cents I have.
I will get a proper mic sometime in the next couple months, though.
I'm cool.
