Born on and raised in Hampton, Virginia Sherrod Wright fell in love with Hip Hop at the tender age of 7. Ever since his dreams have been to grace the mics with the heavy hitters of the game. Now 23, he comes equipped with a cool-ability and an everyday relatable flow which is why he chose to go byS.Rod. Reason being he's just a regular grounded in reality with a style that is very mild mannered. Touching on topics ranging from girls to gear to movies to religion to whatever he gets inspired by but he never strays away from reality. He is currently and intends on making power moves with the help of the ACE BOON CLICK and 3 FT Inc. "Ace Boon Clik is the clik" is a phrase he frequently uses to represent his crew. A crew that consists of emcess, hustlers, trendsetters, philanthropists etc. Originally started by himself and J.Chize the crew eventually expanded to represent different aspects of Virginia. With musical influences that range from Wu-Tang to The Who, S.Rod isn't afraid explore different musical stylings and push the envelope of music. His conversational flow seems very laid back which allows him to get a point across without trying to push it upon the listener.Have you performed in front of an audience?Indeed every Saturday Lumpia House in Norfolk. I enjoy the energy of the crowd they kind of get you hyped up.
