Now-defunct NJ based band. What's left are the songwriting partnership of Marx (drummer) and Matt (lead guitarist). We are on the process of working with a new vocalist and we're also looking for a bass player who's willing to get involved in the art of making music.Band/artist history
How we started.. Marx and Matt are remnants of the band WORMWOOD... they decided to keep on playing music and met up with Ramsey and Eric (From Queens, NY). A few months later, Marx then hooked up with Jeff through a friend and asked him to play rhythm guitarm for the band. Soon after, Ramsey left the band to join a Bellville-based Metal band (RAMINI) and Sprakataks then acquired JING (Angela)from a the band GIRL INCLUDED.
After a year with the Sprakataks, Jing left the band then Yves, who we met through some online music ads, took over her place as vocalist. In just after a couple of months, Yves left the band.. a month later, Marx left for Florida .Have you performed in front of an audience?We used to play live mostly in the NY and NJ bars and pubs.
Your musical influences
Each member has his/her own style and taste as far as music goes. Our music is like a mix of all these different ingredients.
Matt is into Brit Pop, Power Pop, Indie Rock
Jing is mostly Power Pop
Jeff is into Folk music and early 90's Grunge
Eric is into Pop, Big Hair Metal, Glam Rock, Metal, and anything he can get his hands on
Marx is into 80's New wave, Power Pop, Brit Pop, Mainstream rock, and RushAnything else?
