Band/artist history
spaceLemon was founded in 2000 by the former members of a band called "Franda Chrom", as a result of a change of the band's musical style. The most important year so far was 2002, when we released our self produced debut album, and played a very important gig at the cologne ringfest. In 2003, our guitarist christian died in an accident, which forced us to interupt live activities. The band continued with rehearsels in winter 2003, but split up in 2004 for time reasons (Dani's and Frank's first child was born). End of 2010 the members of the banned started a reunion with new singer Ira and Daniel on the guitar. A set of new songs was written which will appear on the new album to be released in 2013.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yes, we are mainly a live band. Our biggest gig was in front of 1000 people at a newcomer festival, our most important gig was at the cologne popkomm ringfest 2002.
