I have been a musician for twenty years. I bought my first synthesizer in the mid 1980's. My first attempt at multitrack recording was by recording into a small portable stereo boombox, then by using a splitter jack run both the synthesizer and boombox into another portable stereo recorder. It actually sounded pretty good. I purchased a Yamaha 4 track about 10 years ago and began recording and producing my own original music in my home based recording studio. I have lately been exploring computer based home studio recording and it has opened up a whole new world for me. I am a self taught keyboard player who really enjoys composing and producing Dark Ambient music and film scores. One of the best things I have done was to join up with the Trans Atlantic Polyphonic Project. The other three members of the band have helped me to bring my music to a whole new level.
