SNM TEAM Music is releasing its debut album, Polarised. The album started off as a charity project, but ended up becoming a bonding adventure for all the artists involved.
Co-produced by Nikolai Stepan of the group 303Infinity, the album features collaborations with singer Laurie Ann Fessler. For more information on the album and its collaborators, please go to: http://www.myspace.com/snmteammusic
The song from artist Laurie Ann Fessler (http://www.laurieannfessler.com), Up in the Groove was first chosen for the album. It was first remixed by the Group 303Infinity(http://www.myspace.com/303infinity). In partnership with Nikolai Stepan, the group SNM Team was formed. There is a new version of this song.
An EP in collaboration with two more artists is to be scheduled for the spring of 2009.
Band/artist history
At the age of 7 Nikolai started classical piano school in Moscow, Russia. His journey continued for a half a decade.
He was 14 years old when he made first track on and old 486 machine with Sound Blaster Pro.
Two years later he was well acquainted with most leading DJs from eastern Europe, UK and Asia. He played around with tape recorders, old turn tables and small mixers to achieve continuous mixes.
When he turned 18 he was buying dozens of vinyls from Goa-Trance record labels.
That was the year when Nikolai purchased first descent PC and a 16 MIDI Yamaha keyboard.
In his early 20 he was already going strong in CD/Vinyl mixing and production.
Nikolai has produced over two dozens of tracks with local band Lynatex Electro/Techno style.
While he continued performing in regional clubs as a live PA or DJ Mir, Nikolai joined with Sean Carnahan (Houston) and Champa Moore (NYC) and formed Tastylick Records as well as their first release "Our House". Tastylick is one of the most known Houston labels that have have music associates like Randall Johes and J-Jay
Soon after, the album of regional singer Amanda started be developed. Album was more of a pop / down tempo combination, some would say Sade meet Madonna. Since then Nikolai has produced 30-40 compositions, various styles and subgenres.
For the last 2 years Nikolai has been working closely with www.myspace.com/303infinity in the effort to release uplifting, musical and harmonious trance album DreamWorld II.
Since the beginning of 2006 Nikolai has also been the lead producer on the "Polarized" Album the first release of the clothing manufacturer www.vizeau.net - www.myspace.com/snmteammusic.

Have you performed in front of an audience?
SNM Team as a group has not played live yet. We aim to do so during the Miami Fashion Week and the ULTRA Festival in Miami, FL next year.
