As sure as youll get burned when you touch a hot stove, you can bet in a fire youll be killed by the smoke first. Forget a blast of fresh air; Epic recording artist, Smoke Bulga will make you choke in the clutch. Adopting his name from making the mic smoke, he intends to keep burning the trail on wax. His answer to the mediocrity of Hip-Hop today: taking it back to basics. Pure rhyme skills & phat beats. Reminiscent of the genesis of Hip-Hop culture, he rhymes about his skills and the state of his hood (wherever that may be at the time).
Now 22, Allen Keon Lee first received his calling at age 11. ..kids was bringing demos to school and I was like I can do that. So he went home that night and proposed to Hip-Hop. That was the beginning of Smokes long journey to a record deal driving in a real fast car. During the gang & drug infested 90s, he had to try to keep up with the pace to keep the peace. So theres no mystery that he hooked up with a local crew called Phast Life. The group consisted of his brother and 3 other members. On his come-up, Smoke found himself working with a local group called Rushya. They had heard of each other through Bostons, small world hotline and had mutually admired each others work. The two groups got together and collaborated on a compilation album that was released independently on XVIII Entertainment.
Now signed, Smoke intends to keep the mic smokin. Hes here to represent Bostons elite and any other hood that gets no love because theyre not New York based. His explosive first single Smoke Did It will liven up the airwaves upon impact. Get ready to find yourself breaking your neck with the production and singing along with the catchy hook. As Epics debut Hip-Hop artist, Smoke will be sure to leave many emcees choking on his fumes.
