SLIVERSUN....The band that defines what music should be. Songs that are raw, deep, swirling and filled with riptides that will pull you in and get inside you like nothing else can. Each song will make you think, move, and come alive. No matter how you are feeling, SLIVERSUN's music will always be the truest soundtrack of your life.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The core of SLIVERSUN is Tarn and Tim. In 2000, while attending an Audio Recording class at the University of Maine at Augusta, the seed was planted. Tarn invited Tim over to jamm and the dynamic duo began writing and composing. Tarn's rhythmic melodies unlocked Tim's haunting lyrics and SLIVERSUN was born. 2001 brought us "Rising" and two years later came "Eclipse". Despite the six year lay-off 2010 promises a new and exciting album from SLIVERSUN and a CD from Tim as well as a few surprise gigs.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We are revamping our line up and jamming with local musians to find the group that will gel and fully embody the music in us. We are writing new material and look forward to playing out locally, as well as doing private parties. Friends and family often sit in on the jamms which are lighthearted and a lot of fun.

SLIVERSUN's musical influences are as diverse as a person's moods. The Jets, Foo Fighters, Strokes, The Church, Neil Young, Cold Play, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, Jude Cole, Santana, Grateful Dead, Eric Clapton, Staind, Soundgarden, Bob Dylan, Stevie Wonder, Blues Brothers, and Alice In Chains are just a few of the influences that shape the sound and feel of SLIVERSUN.
