Having raised himself since age 15, Shawty has seen an abundance of life influenced by poverty, drugs, violence, and deceit. With his father in and out of jail, and mother a victim of the 80s crack epidemic, hustling was the way of life that taught him only the strong survive. Lo and behold, he emerged from this turbulent upbringing like the rose that grew from concrete.
At 23, Slik Shawty is more focused than ever on his career as an entertainer and emcee. He is determined to do whatever it takes to attain the success that fellow hood dwellers, such as T.I., have achieved. His infectious personality and quick wit will charm the ladies, while his street demeanor and real talk will connect with the hardest thug .
