Slightly Decent - the hottest new boy-rock band from the Sunshine Coast, Australia. They can sing, they can dance, they can play their instruments well - they just choose not to.Band/artist history
We've just jammed and recorded tunes since about 1998... when we decided to learn how to play. It's mostly been the bassist and guitarist having a bit of fun, however several drummers and a couple of singers have stepped in and helped out.Have you performed in front of an audience?Not seriously yet... mostly recorded junk at the moment, however we're going to give it a go at some bar in Brisbane soon.
Your musical influences
For the bassist, musical influences include Les Claypool (Primus, Oysterhead etc), Red Hot Chili Peppers and TISM. The guitarist likes Shakira, Pink and wishes the Spice Girls would do another album.

Well, for your information, I liked the music. I liked the website. I liked the humour and I liked the fact that I'm only the second non-member of the band to post on your message board. What privileges.
I think you guys sound great, really got something going there... I especially liked the Fat Girl at the Bowling Alley one... Spiffy. Just give it a few months and you'll be on the front of my magazines and high the charts.
