Slept Productions is team of young ambitious beat makers giving their all to the Hip Hop culture they have grown to love. Currently residing in the suburbs of the GTA, both Rillah and Ruan have used their many interests and experiences to create a new sound in the world of hip hop.
Ruan and Rillah first hooked up while working on another music project for a high school charity auction. At this point, both men were amateur musicians interested in many varying genres of music including classic blues, jazz, heavy metal, dance hall, R&B and hip hop. As the years went on, both continued to enjoy and explore all genres of music all the while developing an even keener interest in hip hop culture, especially the sound of hip hop music from the early to mid-90's.
Since beginning their collaboration, they have performed in and produced several tracks, varying from an experimental hip hop sound to a modern commercial sound. With time, their beats have been getting hotter, mixing cleaner, and sound more developed.What equipment do you use?
