Born and raised in what is considered the greatest city on earth, and home to some of the most renowned names in hip hop, aspirering artist and producer Skila is set to make waves in the seemingly stalling industry of rap. Started rhyming at the age of 18 with influences such as Kool G rap, Rakim, as well as Biggie and Tupac, Skila has applied his ever growing talent to help promote what hip hop seems to lack these days - a step up.
One of the founders of Insomniac Dream Entertainment, Skila is featured on Hello from tha Gutta vol 1 and 2, Brown Bag Blendz vol 1 with versus and production. He has also done production for Spanish artist G. Cardona's album "En La Lucha", IDEs artist Sinnagi's EP "Pull the Plug",and Creature's "Never Say Die".
Due out this year is Skilaâ„s debuting album Audio Narcotics: Love, Hate, Music, and Addiction, with fellow production by Fred Onez, Mr. Data, Reno, Alkatraz, Incredible O, and himself (Skila).

This is to offically inform you of a rising company that is getting the attention of Hip Hop heads everywhere. Insomniac Dream Entertainment, a New York based entertainment company brings you for your listening pleasure a variety of original artist exploding with talent.
Constantly on the grind, they have released material such as "Hello From The Gutta" Vol 1 hosted by Mr. Sinister (formally of the X-ecutioners), "Hello From The Gutta" Vol 2 "Lites Out", as well as Mr Data's Brown Bag Blendz 1 & 2. Through their efforts IDE has created a buzz that is hard to ignore.
The company's first solo artist release is Sinnagi with "Pull The Plug". This 7 song EP takes you on a journey through the eyes of a serious artist that paints pictures with words, so vivid you can almost see what you hear. Don't get twisted, this MC also knows how to have fun, helping the crowd get loose on the song "You Can't Be Serious", as well as jumpstart a few brains to think about life on the song "Changes", making this EP a must have for your speakers.
Coming in the near future, IDE also has Skila (one of the Company's inhouse producers) releasing his solo debut album "Audionarcotics" (Skila Chronicles, Chapter 1: Love, Hate, Music, & Addiction).
