Six Second Silence is a Charlotte, North Carolina based quintet. Finding completion with the addition of a new drummer in 2007 and immediately writing, producing and marketing a brand new album themselves in a few short months, they have evolved and matured into a rugged group that continues to weather an ever-changing musical climate.
Six Second Silence emits an infectious energy at their live show. Floyd's vocals move back and forth from deep gravel tones to soaring notes with impressive ease. The instrumental remainder of Silence dominates the stage in an explosion of power chords, raging vocals and intense timekeeping.
Evident, too, is the ease with which they have crafted their original music on "Forever Forgotten," their independent 2009 release. The fact is, Six Second Silence's songwriting is impeccable and catchy, more than worthy of radio airplay.
