I started playing piano and drums at a very early age (6-7). I picked up guitar when I was a freshman in high school and started playing around with 4 tracks and stuff shortly after. I have been in a few bands and done several recordings, but I just now have my home studio to where I can be productive on it. Right now, the sky is the limit.Have you performed in front of an audience?Not as of yet.
Your musical influences
Boy I have a huge variety of influences from multiple genres. Earlier on I would say Rush, Boston, Metallica. Toward the middle I would go with Mudvayne's percussion and bass work, it hugely influenced me. After I started listening to Dream Theater I was pretty much hooked. Though I will probably never achieve the level of skill that they have, it always finds its way to put something extra into my performances. Recently, Bulb/Periphery has been hugely influential.What equipment do you use?
For Recording: Cubase 5, Sonar on the older stuff, Toneport Kb37, and Alesis USB Pro Drumkit to use with Superior Drummer 2.0
Instruments: Ibanez RG7321 with Dimarzio D-sonic and Air Norton pickup, Vox Valvtronix AD30 XL AMP, Pearl VBX Drums, Sabian cymbals, I don't currently own a bass, so its whatever I can borrow at the time, currently a BC Rich Warlock 5-string.Anything else?
