Street Fighter 2 - Chun-Li - piano version Street Fighter 2 - Chun-Li - piano version
Chun-Li, one of my favorites from Street Fighter 2 in piano form. After doing lots of Deus Ex stuff I figured I'd give another series a try.

This is a piano version of the intro to the game. The scene where Page is talking with Simons. Don't confuse this with the title screen.

Welcome to my page. I hope you'll enjoy the selection of tracks I have to offer at this time and will check back in occasionally if I update things.Band/artist history
I have played many games. In fact, the way I learned how to even do midi properly was by making midi renditions of several of my favorite game tunes. My main goal was to do it right and not miss notes anywhere. After I became pretty confident in the midi creation process I set out on my own, though being creative was pretty hard at first. My very first "songs", I'll admit, were pretty bad. But with time and patience, I believe I improved significantly.Your musical influences
I really like music that comes from media sources such as television shows, film scores, and video games. Don't get me wrong though, I still do like any music that does have good melodies in it and isn't annoying. I have a lot of misc. music, so it's pretty hard to name lots of artists. But apart from the game/tv/film, I like ambient quite a bit.
Also, some favorite bands of mine, though not really related to my style of music include: Rush, Judas Priest, and Queensrÿche. What equipment do you use?
Roland XV-5050, Roland SC-8820, SoundfontsAnything else?
Back when MP3.com was actually a good website for independent musicians, I had my first CD of 18 songs. Rough, though they may be, I had a lot of fun doing music independently and actually having a method to sell to those who took interest. Today, I do some work, but it is seemingly difficult to be on the creative side of things, especially with all the new technology these days. I wish it were simpler, although I definitely want to learn more and better any new songs I come up with. Composing for any media (TV, games) would be of high interest to me as it would be my own soundtrack the viewer/player would be listening to. I honestly hope to have the opportunity to do such projects one day. Let me go into my "career" of sorts now...
My first CD was entitled "Enter The Draconian" and I released it in July of 2002. It contained basic game-inspired tracks. I was limited to just soundfonts back then, so for one who can appreciate a melody with the sacrifice of sound quality, this is what to expect.
For a secondary project, I intended to go in a different direction and do ambient-style music. My pitch for this second CD was "The Nocturnal Sea". The track names were to be the moons of the planet Neptune. It has 8 known moons, hence 8 tracks. At this point, I was using my SC-8820 to do things. I still like the canvas for it has some good sounds. Unfortunately, I had only done 3 tracks before MP3.com went under. I did finish a fourth later on, but once I saw what MP3.com became, I've pretty much halted on the project.
Currently, I am using my newer XV-5050 to do my music work. This, I hope, will be my flagship for doing music. I understand there are great things one can do with this canvas, and I certainly wish to learn. If things go in a positive direction, I hope to provide users with new songs and possibly the completion of "The Nocturnal Sea" and more CDs.
