Heavy Metal

Silence of Time is a collaboration between amateur British producer David Hurst and guitarist Sam 'SamtheMetalMan' Shbib, a brit living in France (just moved to Montpellier!). The combination of a variety of styles, from brutal metal in the style of bands like Meshuggah, Sikth, Sybreed and Mnemic to electronica and drum and bass with a large helping of the epic 80's metal sound makes for a unique explosion of sound. Their first EP, Wastelands and Fearless Ideas, should be out late 2009, early 2010 and features Pretentious Fag and We Are The Dead (demo up soon) as well as 3 completely new, unheard tracks! so buy it. SoT is available for commission for various projects but not available for live gigs yet - no bassist or drummer! If you're interested in joining, let us know at silenceof2009@live.co.uk. Much love, David, Silence of Time fuckin' goat... (that's an 'in' joke ;))
Band/artist history
We started SoT in...may of 2009? I forget. And it just spiralled out from there, but in a good way haha. We've got a 'fuck you' attitude and some serious motivation to keep moving forwards, which is our greatest asset. It's also a bit of a problem sometimes, because we don't know when to stop XD But that's not important. We just have a lot of energy and hope for this band...we'll take the universe one day ;)
Have you performed in front of an audience?
No, unfortunately we don't at the moment. Like it said in the intro, we're looking for live musicians so we can play live. If anyone's interested, let us know.
