The Louisville, KY, native started rapping at 13 and was in a recording studio by 20, the same age he was when he began selling narcotics. From being rejected at a Rap Vibe Summit in Chicago, being turned down by A&R’s because of audio quality, and recording over 1000 song’s and never even completing a album because of a lazy surrounding. It was too long for him not to get his own shot at stardom, so Shor-T left Chicago, his friends, and rapping all together an headed back home. Back peddling and pushing, Shor-T never lost his passion to rap. Shor-T gives all his thanks to a local drug addict who motivated Shor-T to continue his career as a rapper so he wont end up on the streets just like him. Since then Shor-T been one of the most requested on internet radio, one of the top played artists on myspace, and gaining a lot of street credit from local TV shows and features on mix tape’s. Shor-T is very diligent about his music and his ambition to win, Shor-T also promises many if he could have another chance with getting in the industry (now that he is wiser) he will not let his fans or his label down.
