Heavy Metal

Shoot Significant are a heavy "emo" esque rock band from Manchester. We aim to keep music independent, keeping records, merch, and gigs as cheap as possible. We've been compared to at the drive in, glassjaw, fugazi and finch! make of that what you will. Band/artist history
Basically, 4 of us started out in a basic punk band. it split. 3 of us started a new band with a new member, but without a singer. after a year or so, the singer from the original band joined the current one. I'll write a more interesting and indepth bio as soon as i have more time.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Weve only just started playing live with this line up, and we mostly play manchester venues like the star and garter.
Your musical influences
we play a crossover between punk and metal, with an emo edge. our influences include: glassjaw, thursday, tool, get up kids, at the drive in, sparta, sunny day real estate, sonic youth, fugazi, radiohead
What equipment do you use?
EQUIPMENT that we use but dont necessarily recommend. Although we do like some of it a lot: DAVID (and joe) Marshall JMP 50 combo (mid 70s) Squier Duosonic with seymour duncan JB Boss overdrive/distortion Boss digital delay/sampler Ibanez chorus flange CHIM Sound City 100 head and unknown 4X12 cab Epiphone SG, Squier standard Telecaster Boss metal zone Roctek echo Jim Dunlop wah GUY Trace Elliot boxer 65 Tanglewood warrior Westfield J-bass Guy hates pedals JOE (and david) Red maple Yamaha stage custom (standard) 8" 10" 12" 13" 16" 22" drums Sabian HHX 16" and 18" crashes, 20" ride and Tosco hihats. Whatever hardware we can find and a Gibraltar bass pedal. CHARLIE Microphonicators Shitty Laney PA thing we got for cheap.
