Hey, sorry it took me so long to review that track, but in other news...I like it!
Hello Dan,
I've sent you two e-mails concerning a request you made and got no reply. I'm wondering if you aren't getting the e-mails. If you are simply busy, that's cool.
Blessings,
Cam
Thanks for the visit to the Sad Hill Cemetery music page! I appreciate the listen and the comments! I am listening to your piece as I type - I like the way it builds, and like Cam below, I don't know a lot about the Electronica genre, but this is nice! It reminds me sonically of Orchestral Manouvres in the Dark (OMD) from a by-gone era, or possibly Simple Minds.
Hi Dan
Thanks for browsing my material and leaving a message. I get some plays but not a lot of comments. It's hard to gauge my progress without many comments.
I do a lot of mixed genre and mood music, which gets played but doesn't generally generate a lot of comment.
I'm just learning the keyboard and all the bells and whistles (pun intended).
My primary reason for using the keyboard is for the percussion. I couldn't get anyone to add drums to my music so I had to try to do it myself. I only have an (ancient by modern standards) Radio Shack Concertmate VT, a toy really, but better than nothing. Most of what I've done is with the presets. I'm still working on putting the midi capabilities to work.
I'm glad there are those who enjoy some of what I've done on it. I'm getting better as I go along.
Sorry to flood your board, but wanted to add that the track stands up well. I've listened a few times now and like it, quite a bit. I don't know why, but there's a sort of Bach feel to it. Can't put my finger on why I think so.
