Hi and thank you for stopping by. Like many people it's a job to know what to write in this bit, I'm not a natural when it comes to self promotion, though I can 'waffle' pretty well about anything not really important. Well the songs on this page are taken from our album 'The Roads You Take' these are the ones with me singing on them, hence their appearance on this page. Deegansongs is a husband and wife team, myself and my gorgous husband Sean, we enjoy music, we love songwriting, and this album is our first completed album, we're chuffed to bits with it (obviously!). I can't say I have been singing since I was a wee girl, I havn't. I did use to sing in the school choir and play the recorder, but I can't read a note of music and have had no formal training. It all stopped at school, the other kids used to turn and look at me when I was singing, what I didn't really realise was it was because I was singing harmonies, but I thought it was because they thought it sounded rubbish. A lack of confidence silenced me for years, although privately I used to love singing along to the albums that I had in my collection. I suppose for years my voice was chained to fear, and one day at a time those chains are falling away, so this is me breaking very gently out of my little shell and starting to believe in myself. The compliments that I have recieved so far are humbling and I'm grateful for them. So if you do have the time to send a message or leave a comment with your thoughts then they would be warmly recieved. Thanks for reading this, I guess you did, unless you just skipped to this line!! Happy thoughts. Sharon .x.
