hey all....hope you enjoy listening to these songs......mostly nepali pop songs, a few english songs and some instrumental pieces.........many of these songs came to me while i was struggling with a mind block as i was writing my dissertation (this creative release helped me from going crazy!!!).......all songs recorded at home (sorry for the poor quality for now).....thanks to my brother, Rajen, and Prabin, Sabin, AJ, Ashok dai for lending their beautiful voice in some of the songs.....feel free to send feedback.....

My compositions have been directly or indirectly influenced by the following musicians: Jack Johnson, Jesse Cook, U2, Pink Floyd, Eric Clapton, Mukti and Revival, The Himalayan Band, Sade, Tracy Chapman, Ali Farke Toure, Alpha Yaya Diallo, Lhasa, 1974 AD, Deepak Bajracharya, Sugam Pokhrel, Sabin Rai, and Nima Rumba. You can probably hear traces of their influences. At the same time i have attempted to experiment with new rhythmic/melodic styles by combining western and eastern musical traditions and by bridging different genres of music (pop, rock, rap, acoustic) in unique ways.mookielabella's station
