YogendraMy compositions have been directly or indirectly influenced by the following musicians: Jack Johnson, Jesse Cook, U2, Pink Floyd, Eric Clapton, Mukti and Revival, The Himalayan Band, Sade, Tracy Chapman, Ali Farke Toure, Alpha Yaya Diallo, Lhasa, 1974 AD, Deepak Bajracharya, Sugam Pokhrel, Sabin Rai, and Nima Rumba. You can probably hear traces of their influences. At the same time i have attempted to experiment with new rhythmic/melodic styles by combining western and eastern musical traditions and by bridging different genres of music (pop, rock, rap, acoustic) in unique ways.
