Born in Zurich, Switzerland in the year 1951, I was just of the right age to catch the most important musical wave the world has ever seen in the early Sixties. First the Beatles and the Stones from England - and then many other fine artists from Europe and the USA - hit the world with their revolutionary sound. By then this music was known as "Beat" which later turned into "Pop" and "Rock".
Artists like Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, Otis Redding, The Doors, The Who, David Bowie and many others followed and enriched the popular music tremendously. At the same time Blues and Soul gained more and more popularity all over the world. Great Musicians, like the British Bluesman John Mayall (Bluesbreakers), helped many other artists like Eric Clapton to become very successful musicians.
Though I generally love good music from many different styles, the sound of the Sixties had the deepest impact on me. It inspired me to make music myself and I started to play and sing at the age of 12.
With this background I recorded my very first CD "SelfMadeMan". It was entirely produced in my home-studio by myself. Though I have played in different local bands and gave many solo concerts in the late Sixties and early Seventies and again in the Eighties, I only recorded this first album 51 years after I was borned! And here it is: "SelfMadeMan - Time To Dance!" Have Fun!
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I used to play live in the late Sixties, then in the Seventies and again in the Eighties... Currently I'm not playing live but plan to do it again in the near future.

Sixties, Rock, Jazz, Flamenco etc. Artists like John Lennon, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Jimi Hendrix and many more had a deep impact on my musical life!
