Pop Rock

Hello everybody.

My name is Marcus and I play guitar and sing in a band called "second hand rumours". We started off in 2002, and since then we have recorded two ep:s. The first one we don't have to mention here, but the other one we're kinda proud of, so we'd like you to listen to some of our songs. The songs uploaded here we recorded in January 2007 in Sundsvall, Sweden.

Hope you like what you hear, and throw in some feedback if you'd like!

Peace / Marcus

Band/artist history

We started off in 2002. First we only played Dire Straits songs like sultans of swing. We did a great job, but after a while we got bored so I started writing my own songs and we believe we have something good going here. Some of our influences are Dire straits, Simon & Garfunkel, Coldplay and so on and so on..

Have you performed in front of an audience?

We have played a little around Sweden and so.. We love to play live, and I think we're better live than we are on the recorded material.

Your musical influences

Dire straits, Simon & Garfunkel, Coldplay, The Beatles, etc.

What equipment do you use?

A red/white Fender Stratocaster, build in America in 2002, and various amplifiers. A Furch acoustic guitar, a black Gibson SG, Fender Deluxe amplifier, some cool drums, a Fender American Jazz bass. And some pretty nice microphones.
