Jazmahalis play 20th century Persian pop music (aka 'jaaz') and Iranian folksong arrangements, as well as original instrumental and vocal (settings of Nima, Mos Jazmahalis is a band that mixes elements of Persian folk music (mahali) with jazz. We recorded two albums: one of original pop and dance tunes, and another based on the poetry of Nima Ushij and Fereidoon Moshiri.
The band was formed LeGazo the mid 80's and had several popular shows. However, the band split. Foe a semiarm ago so asked the singer P if we could start up the LeGazo is Lundell P and Stefan F Karlsson. The band was formed back in the mid-1980s, but split at the end of the decade. For several months, the P and Stefan started again. We begin by recording old songs, but with a different arrangement. First song is just a taste. We intend to continue !!! Hope you enjoy our music!
