Scuff
We play music our way. We don't follow any specific structure, we don't tone our songs down, and we don't follow any rules. We play what we play and we love it.

Super Punch Out (CLIP) Super Punch Out (CLIP)
This song is still in it's demo stages, but we provided a clip of what we have done. The rest is almost done, just being tweaked.
The Frog Prince Speaks In Tongues The Frog Prince Speaks In Tongues
(ATTENTION! SCUFF NOW HAS A SINGER. ONE (demo) SONG HAS BEEN UPLOADED, A NEW VERSION OF "ALONE AGAIN")
When the music out there is all the same, somebody has to come and scuff off the blandness, and reshape it. Scuff has come to do that job. Playing and recording in John(drums)'s basement, Scuff has a small KC following and a fair sized online following, but plan to extend that soon.Band/artist history
Scuff formed theoretically in mid-april of 2003, when Ryan and John talked about getting a band together to do a video for a class project. The original lineup was..
John Colaw - Drums
Ryan Dobbeleare - Bass
Danny Cox - Guitar
Shawn Groves - Guitar
Matt Nelson - Vocals
It didn't quite work out with Shawn and Matt due to reasons that is their business and nobody elses.
The band actually got together for the first time, on Easter Sunday, on 4/20/03*. The remaining three met in John's basement and jammed for nearly 2 hours straight.
*4/20/03 = Easter, Hitler's Birthday, Columbine Anniversary, 4:20, SCUFF forms*
:SEPTEMBER 26, 2003:
Dustin Patton, another long-time friend of the band, officially joins as the vocalist. The first practice with Dustin went great, we got most of a cover song completely done, and played what will become a new original song.
:NOVEMBER 20, 2003:
Jake Malone, a friend of the band, officially joins as the second guitarist.
:JANUARY 9, 2004:
Scuff parts ways with singer Dustin Patton.
:JANUARY 30, 2003:
Matt Nelson talked with John and Jake, and was enlisted to sing again.
:FEBRUARY 28, 2004:
We have parted ways with Jake.
:AUGUST 28, 2004:
Matt told us he quit the band, unknown to him that we decided a long time ago to kick him out and just had yet to do so. Seeking replacement.
:JANUARY 18, 2005:
Audition of Woody. Part of the audition was recorded, "Alone Again" super-demo reuploaded.
