Scott Cairns, more commonly known as Crimzon, isn't by a long-shot a senior with his genre when it comes to experience. But in only ten short months he has far surpassed many of his peers and proved to be no "average joe" when it comes to combining delivery with catchy punchlines, word-play and views of an older mind into each track, this together turned the tables and took Scott from the status of "wannabe" to "gonnabe". Learning to Take the everyday twists and turns with ease, the long journey ahead is being challenged with a full tank and while most emcee's see themselves as the best, Crimzon see's himself as a student learning a new lesson each day as the clock ticks on. I'd rather take 10 years and be remembered for 1 show than start now and be forgotten by the time the next guy appears.
Your musical influences
I grew up living with my mum, listening to the sounds of Eric Clapton, Neil Diamond and Rod Stewart etc... I never heard a rap record until I was 13 or so but before that I was playing the drums and my first musical influence came from Matt Sorum of Guns n' Roses. Music feels natural to me and always will. I like anything and everything that involves talent. A while back I was introduced to Kon-Tempt and this was a major kick-start for my inspiration. More recently I've been working with the likes of Instinctz... As you can see my influences dont just come from one name or genre, they're far and wideWhat equipment do you use?
