Project studio demo

Country General

I'm just a guy who loves stories (hearing and telling them in short stories, , and songs). I have been writing and recording songs since the days of the old Fostex 4-track and ye old high school cover band and finally put together a project studio to "rough out some demos" in my 10 minutes a week of spare time. Would love to collab with other songwriters and musicians to co-write and produce and bounce ideas off each other.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Beats the dickens out of playing dead.
Your musical influences
Too many to list, for sure, but the prime influences are the great songwriters who gave us the music of the 70s -- from classic rock, to soul (brown and blue-eyed versions), to R&B, to radio pop. My first love is drumming, so the great rhythm sections of the 60s and 70s are the cat's pajamas to me.
What equipment do you use?
Fender strat & tele, Ibanez acoust-electric, Yamaha dreadnought, Fender mandolin, Roland V-drums, Rogers Fullerton (1974) acoustic drum kit, Kawai digital piano, Yamaha keys, various basses, lap steel, midi controllers, oodles of software plug-ins. Fun stuff.
