A native of Danbury, Connecticut born to Jamaican parents Scott has been involved with music from Elementry School. He started out playing piano in 1st grade, then switched over to percussion in Middle School starting out with the xylophone and even learned to play Steel Drums. In high school, he switched over to the snare drum and tympani , making the All-State Orchestra on the latter instrument and started to experiment in audio recording and composition, which he ended up majoring in at SUNY-Purchase's Conservatory of Music.
Scott just recently graduated from Purchase with a Bachelors of Music in Studio Composition with plans to return in the Fall of 2005 to begin their Master's Program. He started writing hip-hop songs when he was 8 years old after mimicking M.C. Hammer records and later started to merge his production to mid-90's Dr. Dre records. After listening to Fresh Prince records in high school, Scott decided to imitate his lyrical approach. Although he's caucious about keeping up with today's culture, based on his background and upbringing he can't always talk about drugs, money and violence so his music focuses more on everyday situations, whether it'd be dealing with girls, discrimination or just trying to fit in.
When he's not creating his own music, he's busy working with a wide variety of musicians/artists including Brooklyn based R&B singer/songwriter Mr. Polo, Connecticut based Jamaican Dance Hall artist GUN-HEAD and Maryland based rapper Black Raven. GUN-HEAD just released an 11-track EP that was entirely produced by Scott borrowing from current Dance Hall 'Riddims'.
When looking to the future, Scott's main goal is to simply make music and enjoy doing it. Based on his projects for the summer, you can expect him to do just that.Have you performed in front of an audience?For the time being, I play open mics down at Cousin Larrys in Danbury, Connecticut.

To make the beats, I use a wide variety of rack sound modules. I've used the Roland JV-1080, Kurtzweil 2500R, E-MU Proteus 2000, E-MU Mo Phatt, E-MU X-Treme Lead 1, and the Yamaha Motif Rack. The microphones I've used include the AKG 414 and the Audio Technica 4033. DAE Software, I use Sony Video Vegas and Digidesign Pro Tools for multitrack recording, and for beat building I've used Cubase, and Cakewalk.Contact
