A more jump-up, sparser,hip-hop inspired track complete with a bouncy bassline and a few little scratches for good measure. (If the cuts sound a bit odd its cos i've edited out the actual vocal sample I used. Not cleared you see...)
Scifax, aka DJ Panic is 22 year old Brighton based drum and bass producer who specialises in dance floor friendly rhythms; hard and dark but with a musical vibe which aims to be more than just noise. Dub and Hip-hop influences feature heavily alongside more typical d'n'b vibes, and the odd scratch is thrown in to complete the picture.Have you performed in front of an audience?DJ anywhere I can, mostly in Brighton. Spent the last year in Toulouse playing a bit on the French scene. Have played supports for Herbaliser, JJ Frost, Friction and a few others, and also promoted a night called "Bad Science" (also the name of a hip-hop band I play bass in: check www.soundclick.com/badscience), a monthly residency at the Pressure Point in Brighton.
