If I were a baker I would make it my life's mission to sell hotcakes very, very slowly.
But I'm not.
I'm just a silly little boy who writes silly little music.Band/artist history
I once figured out *precisely* how many licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Roll Pop. I wrote it down on a post-it note, stuffed it in my pocket, and ran off to tell that bespectacled owl from the commercials. By the time I got to him, the ink was smudged beyond recognition and my calculations were lost forever. The owl was furious, and to this day no nocturnal fowl will even so much as hoot in my direction.
The music I write is an attempt to reconcile the feelings of futility and loss that have pervaded my every thought since this spurning.Have you performed in front of an audience?Currently I don't perform live, but I'm in the process of writing a live act to perform with a small ensemble.
Your musical influences
If Tom Waits, Igor Stravinsky, and Gil Evans bought a house together in Baltimore and paid the mortgage by writing cartoon music, it might sound kind of like the stuff I hear in my head. What equipment do you use?
THERE ARE NO GENERAL MIDI RECORDINGS HERE. Only real recordings of real performers, and occasionally some electronics.
Equipment I use:
Cakewalk SONAR, GigaStudio, Audiomulch, Delta 66, Roland JV1080, Ensoniq Halo, about a zillion software synths, 1932 Selmer Super Sax, Martin Acoustic Guitar, Ibanez Electric, an assortment of acoustic and electronic instruments, and a partridge (no pear tree, but I'm saving up).Anything else?
I'm just glad I got to use the word "Bespectacled" on this page. What a great word, really.Contact

Your works for piano and trombone are fantastic. Great, great work!
Wow!
You really do write like Carl Stalling! (at least on Schmlud's last ride I haven't gotten to the others yet)
Bravo!
nope, I'm not the tenor, just the composer. "Janine of Newark" will be performed again (with the same tenor) this July (2004) in Baltimore, if anyone's interested in hearing it live.
I assume you are the tenor??? Well if you are....its gorgeous, well done
