Band/artist history
Our history at this point as a band spans almost twenty years. And to learn all of the stories, trials, and tribulations we've been through, you'll have to read the liner notes to our upcoming five CD debut box set.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Oh yes, once I pretended to short circuit and just stood in the middle of the stage stammering back and forth while the Professor acted concerned. After an hour of technical difficulties, we thank the audience and pick up our share of the money from the door. That's not true. That never happened. You are just saying that because you want to fool more people in to seeing us. Correct, Professor? Next question.
Your musical influences
Johnny 5, Roy Batty, Bender, Gort, Robby, Hal. They Might Be Giants, Atom and His Package, Wesley Willis, Daniel Johnston, Shooby Taylor, Les Baxter, Synth Rock, Iron Maiden, Guns 'N' Roses, 8-Bit Nintendo Music, MIDI songs.
What equipment do you use?
Me. The robot, of course, for the vocals. The music is created with everything from home made MIDI files to a full live band of studio musicians. Whatever the song calls for is what we'll use.
