Bad Candy Bad Candy

A DnB beat with loud guitars and a nice noisy indusrial-drum chorus. Who's hungry? So sickly sweet, hard on your teeth this tastes like, Bad Candy.

Band/artist history
History? Well... waaaaaaaay back in what? '80? (holy crap we've known each other a long time)... Well, a couple of incredibly intelligent slightly obnoxious totally crazy and exceedingly pulchritudinous kidlets were introduced to each other by their mommies... an immediate and lifelong connection was made and soon, an alliance was formed. It became apparent to all in our way that a playtime takeover was emmeninent. (That's MY bucket! Go play with the dollhouse or something!). The world hasn't been the same since. Sadly, we were seperated by the fates when i moved across town and she was stuck living with the stepmonster. But the many years of christmas only visitation only made us bitter and hungry... and now we return stronger, funnier, cooler, louder, and more pulchritudinous than ever. Yes that's right: ...weeeeeeeee're baaaaaaaack!!
Have you performed in front of an audience?
No. We play dead. ooooh, gothy.
Your musical influences
Tons. We listen to everything from yer standard hard rock, pop, to old britpop, nu metal, lots of electronica (techno to trance to ambient to blablahblah...), alt-country, punk, prog rock, various pseudo-industrial bands, classical, hip-hop, bluegrass. Between the two of us nothing is safe. The Sandbox Tyrants tunes tend to be a pleasant mash of distorted guitars, industrance, DnB, and female vocals thru the phone ;-)
What equipment do you use?
S: Cubase SX, the Native Instruments Komplete bundle, Reason, some soft-synths, a load of plug-ins, an Edirol PCR-50 keyboard/controller, all my guitars and amps (including line 6 guitar port and WARP VST) and a telephone. My mics are asserific. K: did i mention i am pulchritudinous?
Anything else?
It's a good thing we're cute.
