The Sam Tet Brass Band was established in the 28th February 1972. It was founded by the school teacher, Mr Wong Meng Hua for the purpose of instilling love of music among school students. The band started it first practise in 28th February 1973. Mr Hon Hew Choong also the first instructor for the band from year 2002 until today. The year 2003 was a very memorable year for the Band as the Band had its first concert. The theme of the concert that night was '' Fantasia In Spring'' .
