Sam Islam is an up and coming singer/songwriter from Washington. He writes and performs original music, and largely subscribes to the musical stylings of classic rock and modern pop-rock. When performing live, he usually performs acoustically and encourages the audience to participate. His original recordings are entirely self-produced.Band/artist history
Sam had been performing and recording since he was fourteen years old. After gaining a reasonably large fanbase in Vancouver, WA, he has ventured out to other parts of the state. Sam currently resides in the lovely Pacific Northwest but travels whenever possible.Have you performed in front of an audience?Sam plays live whenever and wherever he get a chance, and almost never turns down a potential show. He is most commonly found performing at coffee shops and pubs, but has occasionally opened for several bands at conventional live shows. He has literally played everywhere from full blown concerts all the way to retirement homes. How's that for a little diversity?

And you have the weirdest definition of "pop" in the world. Personally, I don't think it sounds like Brittney Spears, which is the basic kind of music I consider pop. Blech.
