By combining the speed and aggression of modern thrash with the finesse of melodic Euro-metal, Samadhi have created a unique, powerful sound. Formed in 2001, the band has performed countless East Coast tour dates, released several excellent music recordings and cultivated a large, loyal fan base along the way.
In 2009, Samadhi is poised to create a huge impact on the international metal scene, starting with the October 2008 release of their new CD, "Incandescence". Produced by Peter Wichers (Soilwork), "Incandescence" is a perfect blend of aggressive thrash and melodic power metal. Great songwriting, top-notch musicianship and a perfect, top-quality production make this an ESSENTIAL metal release. "Incandescence" will be supported by advertising in every major metal magazine & webzine, and distributed internationally by Century Media, Relapse and Goodlife.
Samadhi will be touring across North America throughout 2009, in support of "Incandescence ". The band will start off with 10-15 east Coast dates during winter 2008/2009, then progress into full USA touring in summer 2009.
