Still auditioning and working on concepts. I would like to record a vocal album, an instrumental fusion album, and a new age (Kitaro/Friedman-ish) album. I will be playing most of the guitar, except for the vocal band others are welcome. The demo song has two other guitarists and a great bass player that has his own band, so looking for bass players also.
I have recorded an instrumental album and many MP3s, now that quality recording can be done with the hardware I have I believe the three albums I have planned will be completed within the next 2 years or so. I may have to keep things local, but if I can find someone over the internet with some drive, I'd be glad to send tracks back and forth, meet on Paltalk, e-mail back and forth, etc.
Angra, Dream Theater, Richie Kotzen, Shawn Lane, Paul Gilbert, Nuno Bettencourt, Marty Friedman, Frank Gambale. And on another tier, I like Black Label Society, Morbid Angel, anything with a good riff and some squeals over some kicking drums.
Drop the genre argument, bias, and egos. I'm out to make and enjoy music, not compete or argue. Limp Bizkit is cool, Morbid Angel is cool, Dr. Dre is cool, noise is cool if that's what makes you happy.
