Sahib Radio
Sahib Radio is not your typical singer-songwriter. He considers himself a recording artist. Not in the popular sence, but in the artistic sence. Like a painter

Welcome to the world of Sahib Radio. A world filled with voodoo, demons, strange people, places, and happenings. A world of life, death, addiction, abuse, and even a little humor now and then. A fine line seperates reality from fiction. It's up to you to decide which is which.Band/artist history
If you’re looking for some super smooth, over produced, pretty pop tunes, or love songs then keep on looking. You won’t find it here. Sahib Radio’s music is raw, rough around the edges, gritty, and doesn’t really fit into any specific genre. Subject matter is usually controversial, and dark. Life competes with death. Demons compete with angels, and the past competes with the present. And none of it is very pretty. This is not top 40 stuff, nor does Sahib expect it to ever be accepted by the masses. He once stated that if he’s lucky, maybe one out of every nine listeners would even like his work. He’ll be the first to admit that his work will never appeal to any record label, and that is just fine with him. He doesn’t perform live anymore, giving that up several years ago. He considers himself a recording artist and the whole recording process as an art form in itself. He writes, arranges, plays most all the instruments, records, and mixes everything himself in the comforts of his home recording studio, in Western North Carolina. The end product being a piece of art by an artist. After all, would a visual artist hire someone to brush the paint onto the canvas and interpret what they visualize? Sahib is a true indie artist and considered by many to be a dominate figure in the internet indie music revolution going on in the world today.
Maria Daines 7/29/2005 Paying respect... Some musicians lead the way and clear paths for others to follow... It's hard to put into words what Sahib Radio does to make his music a listening experience rather than merely songs that you can take or leave. If you 'get' his work then you are hooked & that's just the way of it. I'm not sure if it's the telling of his stories, in a voice that you know may possibly have lived through these scenes or if it is the atmospheres that creep up on you as he creates sounds that can make the music trade places with your mind and the colours there. As a lyricist it is hard to match anyone to these enlightening & challenging themes with poetic twists save one or two famed wordsmiths that hang easily in the genius catchment. This brings me to the conclusion that Sahib is a complete artist and one who deserves the title 'Unique' and will surely in the next few years earn the mantle 'Legendary' to go with it.Your musical influences
Frank Zappa, Tom Waits, Screamin' Jay Hawkins, Edgar Alan Poe, RL Burnside, Howlin' Wolf, also the 2 bumbs I saw playing and singing on the side street uptown when I was a kid. I thought, now that's a darn good way to live.Anything else?

Excellent as always Sahib, it's been a long time since I've heard your music, a work of art for sure and always interesting and inspires imagery, this song is catchy too.
Finally I got back here, where does the time fly... but it doesn't matter because the music is still calling us all and it's always good to hear what you've been creating Sahib. Excellence as always and musical stories that come to life.
It's really cool to hear your vocals louder in this song Sahib, or maybe it's because the music is spacial but either way I think the more prominent vox is excellent, brilliant lyrics as always and another intriguing story from your collection of unique soundscapes, nothing finer, you have your own genre & style and you are amazingly prolific, this track is ace!
For a Sahib Radio fan this track is a wicked find, fantastic imagery and nothing less than pure ragged poetry from the stuff of life, creatively wild, tops!!
enjoyed bridgette's gone to hollywood. sort of a wolfman jack meets charlie manson thing. outta sight.
