Born and raised in Winston-Salem's northen outskirts, Safe Money has emerged on the local rap circuit to much acclaim. With his regional sound mixed with his own personal rebelious style, Safe refuses to be stuffed in the neat little box known as rap. With his groups (Team U.R.B.A.N.) recent release from their contract with Get @ Me Ent./Gecco Management and talks of signing to J- Mag entertainment a New York/DC based production company and there first major lable recordings due to begin in late Jaunary 06, it seems to be shaping up to quite a year for this already battle-weary soldier.
