Your musical influences
This stuff is very definitely influenced by the great Johnny Cash, especially his Rick Rubin/American Recordings material. Throw in a helping of Bob Dylan, Neil Young, and Gram Parsons. Also the entire alt-country genre, including but not limited to Uncle Tupelo, Wilco, Son Volt, Green on Red, Long Ryders, Rank and File, and many, many others.

Aaaahhhhh...see...all it takes is some personal style. Swamp rock Jeff's way. Whatever the genre all unmistakingly him. Great Lyrics...at least in my Dutch perception. Clever songwriting and a good playing vibe. Nice one Jeff !
Congrats on completing this--I must have listened a hundred times as I was trying different instruments, tunings etc. I think this is just a great song--did you hear it on Wim's show the other day? In general, you got the dopest sounds and I'm feeling your page.... Cheers, MH

I had to re-listen to a couple of songs here, just to hear what this PC Drummer you recommended sounded like. And then I got swept away by Caroline... now there's a phat beet!
