Running Potatoes is a eight-piece Ska/Punk/HC band from the southern part of the world...Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The band was formed in 1999/2000, and have played shows all over Argentina and South America.
The Running Potatoes are not your average Spanish ska band. The %90 of their songs are performed in English, incorporating melodic vocals with a variety of genres such as hardcore, surf, swing, funk, jazz, reggae, dixieland and many more.
With lyrics covering all aspects of live and human existence, they provide a welcome change from the tiresome "us against the world" attitude which plagues the scene today.
It could be described as somewhere between Reel Big Fish and Mad Caddies, but with their own Potato flavour.
The Potatoes leave their mark wherever they go, rocking the house with their notoriously crazy live shows, and leaving fans scattered all over the continent. They have yet to find a stage big enough to withstand the energy and emotion of their live shows, it's something you need to experience for yourself.
The future looks bright for this hard working band. It's not an easy task living in a crazy countrie like Argentina, the economy and polictics really sucks down there, but their are not going to give up, it takes guts, determination, and a lot of balls to leave everything behind to follow your dreams, but Running Potatoes is ready to do it! The Potatoe's Army its getting bigger and bigger and bigger!

Que hay?, no os había escuchado y eso que me suena mucho el nombre de la banda y esos dibujos también. Somos un grupo de España, nos llamamos oferta especial y somos nuevos en el soundclick, desde hace unos días y estoy al borde de la saturación con tantas bandas; Bueno pues solo eso, venir a tocar por Madrid (yo y mis colegas vamos seguro).
Si os apetece escuchar algo de nuestro humilde punk-ska, no suena también como el vuestro pero tiempo...
