Rubix a.k.a Private Ryan formally of the group Die-Verse (http://die-verse.com) is a highly talented emcee and producer that has flashy delivery and that is extremely lyrical. His production style is unique and all of his instrumentals have a different sound, he prides himself in making beats that never sound the same as the previous one. His production style is well respected and has quite a few people interested in purchasing some the patent Rubix productions. He has produced the majority of Die-Verse’s songs as well as songs for the other artists apart of Tim Eccles Management (VerbalSweetness http://verbalsweetness.com and Jaki-Li a.k.a Adios http://jaki-li.com). As an emcee, his flows are entertaining and his lyrics are always hard-hitting and thought provoking, his swagger is very much west coast influenced but his lyrical content and delivery is very east coast reminiscent due to his very clever word play and hard-hitting punch lines and concepts.

Rubix began emceeing at an early age but did not begin to take the art from seriously until September of 2003, when the group Die-Verse exploded upon the hip-hop industry. Die-Verse gained a lot of success rather quickly, receiving radio play, doing interviews, performing at various large events only 2 weeks after recording their first demo. The duo of Rubix and Mirage continued to improve and gained a lot of respect worldwide receiving radio play in the USA, the UK, Italy and Japan in addition to Canada with their singles “smile” produced by Rubix and featured Verbalsweetness and their second single “Up Close N Personal” featuring Barry Bee. It is now a new era and the duo of die-verse has separated for the time being to pursue their solo careers.

Rubix has a lot to get off his chest and has knowledge to drop on the entire hip-hop collective. His solo material will show everyone that Rubix is a force to reckoned with and he will lyrically decimate anyone whom steps up to challenge his skill but he is also going to make music that is high quality, that has substance and that is extremely entertaining. You won’t hear Rubix rapping the same way as anyone else, he makes sure that he always comes on the next level with is material so that everyone else has to figure out a way to catch up to him. “A Long Time Comin’” is the title of Rubix’ first solo album, the tentative release date is the first quarter of 2005. This album will be very innovative, trend setting and will for sure give the fans more than enough entertainment.

He will be doing things on a major level very soon rather than just being on the independent circuit along side everyone else just making a small rumble.
