Roen (pronounced as Roon) is a Dutch singer-songwriter born in the 80's, he got his nickname Roen from his little sisters that could not say his full name Jeroen when they were young, and the name stuck.
After having went through hard times of addiction and being homeless as a young adult, he found faith in Christ and he got back on his feet, having been a musician since childhood with influences from Dutch bands like Doe Maar and a general interest in reggae music, he now uses his music to send the world a message of Love. Hoping to be a light for people that are lost in these dark times.
In Dutch there is a saying; 'een dag niet gelachen is een dag niet geleefd'
Meaning, if you did not smile on a day you did not live that day.
