Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yes I play live all the time. I have been blessed that music is what I do for a living and I am very thankful for that. I primarily play many private and corporate functions, either as a solo act or my duo act with guitarist Gregg Haynes & The Happy Guitar. My duo is called the "Two Smooth Duo". Also , I play with my band ," Rod Tate & Full Circle". Some special moments for me was my appearance on B.E.T's Jazz Discoveries , Semi- Finalist of Musician's Magazine unsigned band competition in 1996. One special moments that just happened 6/16/00 is when my duo act performed for the "Demetrius Johnson Celebrity Golf Tournament". There were many celebrities such as : Ozzie Smith , Damien Hall , Paul Pierce , Eddie George , Demetrius Johnson and many more. It was really cool to see these guys outside their element and they are really down to earth.
